How to Instantly Transfer a Domain to Another Account Using the Ownership Transfer Option

With the Ownership Transfer feature in YesDomain, transferring your domain to another account is now faster and easier than ever. Follow this detailed guide to complete the process smoothly.

Step 1: Log in to Your Client Area

• Visit the Yes Domain client area login page.
• Enter your credentials to log in.

Step 2: Navigate to the Domains Section

• After logging in, click on the “Domains” section from the main navigation menu.
• Domain list section direct link.

3. Select the Domain to Transfer:

• In the list of your domains, locate the domain you wish to transfer. For example, let’s use “YesDomain.in”.
• Click on the domain name to open its management page.

4. Initiate the Transfer:

• On the domain management page, look for the “Transfer Ownership” option. This should be provided by the Ownership Transfer module.
• Click on the “Transfer Ownership” button.

5. Enter New Account Details:

• You will be prompted to enter the email address of the new account to which you want to transfer the domain.
• Ensure you enter the correct email address associated with the new owner’s account.
• Tick mark “I have read and agree to the Terms of Service” to move the domain to another account.

6. Confirm the Transfer:

• After entering the new account email, the system will send an approval email to the new owner.
• The new owner needs to open their email and confirm the transfer by clicking on the approval link/ Approve Transfer button.

7. Completion of Transfer:

• Once the new owner confirms the transfer, the domain will be instantly moved to their account.
• Both the current owner and the new owner will receive confirmation emails regarding the successful transfer.

• Ensure that the email entered for the new account is correct to avoid transfer issues.
• The new owner must approve the transfer within a specified time frame, as indicated in the approval email.
